Beijing street (food) vendor

Yo...

A snapshot at Dong-Hua gate's food/street vendor.

Set in 1984, Donghuamen Night Market basically covers from the east of Donganmen Street to the north of Chenguang Street; which is also near to the Wangfujing Business Street. {I stayed at WangFu hotel *****}

With more than 60+ specialty snack hawker stalls, the market features those edible and exotic snack foods found within China; noted especially from Xin Jiang and other provinces.

Well... for starters, the food that you see in the market can be rather scary, gross and smelly for those who are not used to the sights and smell of some of these snack foods
.... which consist of skewed scorpions, sea horses, baby quails, little sparrows, grasshoppers, and little squids.

To say the least, One would need to be adventurous when trying out these foods!

Of course, there are also edible ones:
<> grilled lamb kebabs,
<> herbal, jelly drinks,
<> fried noodles.

These food are rather cheap too. All less than US $5 or 6 dollars!

Or ... you can go sightseeing: http://photo.net/china/beijing
