Outage... TLS related? Interesting to find out what RC is


Bank outage : Capital one

While taking no pleasure of seeing bank outage on payday for some families, with my tech hat on, I couldn’t help to wonder what the root cause(s) might have been contributing to the outage?

Could this be TLS outage? (TLS 1.2 widely used; 1.3 coming)

Capital one has been migrating their system to AWS.
